Father George Nangachiveettil has been priest at St. Thomas since July 2013.
Deacon Frank Klauder is the resident Deacon serving at St. Thomas. He moved into the Fortville area in July of 2007 from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he served on the police force for ten years. He was ordained in 1989 after health issues provided a new perspective on life. He assists Father George with masses and serves as the Chaplin for the Greenfield Police Department.
Administrator of Faith Formation
Theresa Werking has been a member of St. Thomas since spring of 2000 and started as Administrator of Faith Formation during the summer of 2015.
Diane Brady is our Parish Secretary/Bookkeeper, she joined our staff in October of 2016. Diane volunteered as a religious education teacher from 2004-2013. Diane and her family have been members of St. Thomas for 20+ years. Diane is responsible for the daily functions of our church office, some of which include, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, registering new parishioners, updating Sacramental Records, the weekly bulletin, and many other of our church office needs.
Kathi Dickerson is director of the middle and high school youth groups. She comes with a lot of experience. She established a youth group for her last parish in South Carolina. Kathi returned to St. Thomas in 2006 when she moved back to the area with her family. She was a member from 1979-1988.
Stephanie Garst has been a member of St. Thomas since moving to Fortville in 1976. She became a cantor and music director in 1981, a role she continues to fill, in addition to conducting the adult and youth choirs. She has also taught Religious Education classes and served as the Youth Minister. Currently, Stephanie is involved with Confirmation, is the liturgist for the parish, and helps keep things running smoothly on a daily basis.
